MOC Naval Ltda “Shipyard“

Estaleiro MOC Naval Ltda is settled in 2010 by the investor” H.A.M. Participações e Investimentos Ltda”. Original the shipyard was a logistic base of Petrobras. An area of about 125.000 m2 will be used in this first set up. The total area will be 250.000 m2.

Estaleiro MOC Naval Ltda set up is based at proven and developed technology. A modern shipyard which built prefabricated sections. Entire multi-deck segments of the hull or superstructure will be built at the yard, transported to the building dock or slipway, and then lifted into place. This is known as “block construction”. The shipyard pre-install equipment, pipes, electrical cables, and any other components within the blocks, to minimize the effort needed to assemble or install components deep within the hull once it is welded together.

The challenge for our shipyard is to produce a working design and to build the product from this information in a cost-effective manner.

Estaleiro MOC Naval Ltda is focused at crewing boats, offshore supply vessels, mid size’s tankers, inland transport vessel and OCV vessels within the highest international technical standards, complying with delivery dates and budget, developing products with full quality guarantee. Estaleiro MOC Naval Ltda invests in 150 professional employees who are already having experienced in shipbuilding and their skills will be deployed immediately to make a start with the construction of vessels. We have also an extensive experience in training executive technical manpower, we are confident to get relevant labour force from the local Bahia labour marked to provide our needs, sowed will educate these local employees ourselves at the training institute at our shipyard.

Main slipway up to 150 m, with gantry crane of 2x 125t
Second slipway up to 100 m, with gantry crane of 2x 125t.

Quay side/ 200 m with onshore crane of 250t.
